I've always sort of wondered how mages "learned" how to actually improvise their spells. It makes a little sense if they have a teacher, but not all mages are a part of an order, etc.

I like how you guys are digging into that, as opposed to the "and you start off knowing how to use x dots of arcana a, y dots of arcana b, and z dots of arcana c". I know this... how? I like that the awakening was not sufficient to know all their spells immediately.

I'm going to go ahead and guess that Amical was probably raised pre-Vatican II, though.

Seriously, the first thing that crosses my mind is possible differences in liturgy. The comic's title is already Greek; are we going to get Latin, as well?

@PrimroseFrost: But are we to believe Amical? The title of the comic could refer to credulity as well. And yes, I expect Amical is much, much older than he appears.
