Not the clearest of terms, but still. Flying colors on the lesson. I can see how you can hopefully get it to work, but specifics are lacking.

Still, hell of a motivation. Lets figure out how much editing on Amical's part is required after that.

//hisses call the police, one of you, any of you, just call the police--

Wait, but that wouldn't make for a very entertaining story, if you did that. Y-You know what, forget the police, just do more magic things--

@Charil: Amical's too smart to let that happen. I bet he'd have someone like Rick or Malloy dial for them, not give them the base of the phone so they can't call someone else, and then stick around in the background to supervise.

I just want to see how ornate his phones are. They're lovely, I'm sure.

@Charil: You've become Billy, we all knew it would happen eventually:

@ChibiSilverWings: It was only a matter of time. Soon, we will all become Billy. This is our fate.

@Charil: Well it's already happened to me, that's for sure!

Now the real question is...what does Amical get if they fail?

@Don Quixotes Something physical, one of a kind which he’s going to remember for a long time?

@Profpatsch: We know how that sounds to Amical, but it could well be something a great deal less pleasant- a signed sweater, say, or even a horrible gash. (Or Ebinger's Chocolate Cake...)
@Charil (Love the puppet BTW) I think many of us have indeed hoped word would get to the police, but PrimroseFrost is right- Amical's likely to prevent that. The Seedlings might be able to drop some hint- "I could kill for some gumballs right now" or some kind of personal hint or code word such as "F-stop"- but can they be certain they're really talking to their loved ones? Magic is nothing without tricks...
