@burningtyger: technically it doesnt eat emotion, but emited trace of the emotion. the difference being that it doesnt cause harm by feeding. But still able and willing to influence and manipuate people, and caniballistic.

I'm reminded of the example laid out in the nWoD Book of Spirits that describes the birth of a joy spirit and how it turns a promising young woman's joy at getting away from her passive aggressive parents to the college of her choice into a downward spiral of alcoholism, cheap highs, and probably drugs shortly afterwards. She misses her college acceptance deadline, but under the kind attentions of One Girl's Ecstasy, as the spirit now calls itself, she couldn't care less, even as it prepares itself to possess her.

Spirits, at the best of times, are most definitely not your friends. Treat them as such.

He did say they fed off emotion, so being adorable would be advantageous... and if they get too powerful they could be dangerous...
So they're kind of like rabbits, adorable and cuddly, but they quickly become a problem if you're not willing to kill them...
